Linda

Linda is owner of The Bemidji Hairstyling Center. She is from Bemidji and has lived here all her life. Husband, Curt, owns The UPS Store, next door. She has a daughter and son-in-law, and they have 4 wonderful children. Linda started doing hair in 1970 and opened The Beaver Look in 1972. As a seasoned cosmetologist, Linda really enjoys developing a relationship with her clients, some as long now as 30 years. The other stylist would say she is best at doing just about everything. They also say that Linda usually has an answer for everything, and she is like a second mother to the girls. There’s no one like her and no one that could replace her!

I have been a hairdresser for 40 years and even though I am nearing a
retirement schedule, I love the profession as if it were my first year. I have
been part of The Beaver Look and now The Bemidji Hairstyling Center for 30
years! I enjoy hairdressing and count it a privilege to be a servant to my
clients/friends in meeting their salon needs. I love hair coloring, hair
cutting and solving hair problems.

Vonnie

Hello, I’m Vonnie. I claim Bemidji as my hometown since I’ve been here for
so long. I have been doing hair for 31 years and have been working for Linda
for the last 22 years. I also work as an instructor at The Professional Salon
Academy and have been for 6 years. I have a son and an adopted daughter as
well as 3 grandsons and 2 more on the way. I also have 3 spoiled dogs. I enjoy
doing haircuts and love doing hair all together, that’s why I can’t give
it up. The other stylists would all agree that I’m very skilled in doing
haircuts.

Hey, I’m Cayla. I’m from Mountain Lake, MN. I graduated cosmetology school
in 2003 and love what I do. I am married and have a little girl named Cloey.
If I had to pick my favorite
service, it would be up do’s and coloring. Other stylist would say my

Hey! I’m Ashley. I’m from Benedict, MN; it’s a small town just south of
Bemidji. I started working here as a receptionist while still going to
cosmetology school. Then I graduated from cosmetology school in 2004. I have 2
children, my son’s name is Hunter and my daughter’s name is Rileigh. I
really enjoy doing hair cuts, colors, foils, and facials. Other
stylists would say I’m a full service cosmetologist, which means I do it
all, and I love it!

in 2005. I’m currently enrolled at BSU for Elementary Education with a
specialty in math. I am married and have a son. My favorite services to do are
colors, foiling, and hair cuts. I love to make big transformations on people
